Current fees

The fees are payable on registration and for the 2004/2005 session will be £12,100 for Overseas studens and £5,020 for Home students.
The fees cited include a bench fee to cover the cost of materials for practical classes and/or research.
The level of annual fees are set during March/April each year.

Eligibility

The programme is suitable for graduates in medicine, veterinary medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, microbiology and medical laboratory sciences or candidates whose qualifications reflect a similar level of instruction in elementary microbiology. The intake includes microbiologists from established training programmes (eg specialist registrars, clinical scientists and medical laboratory scientific officers) for UK and overseas Health Authorities, the Public Health Laboratory Service and also academia.

Commencement of the programme

The taught programmes start in September/October and applications should be submitted by 1st February of the same year.
